Job Summary
Meet and instruct assigned classes at designated times while planning programs that address individual student needs. Create a conducive learning environment and employ varied instructional techniques consistent with student capabilities. Assess student accomplishments regularly, diagnose learning abilities, and provide progress reports as required. Maintain accurate records, protect student safety, and enforce classroom behavior standards in harmony with district philosophy. Plan and supervise teacher aide assignments, attend staff meetings, and support the CORE Literacy initiative. Make provision for availability to students and parents outside the instructional day when requested. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate, license, or other legal credential required- FROM MDE (MISSISSIPPI DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION)
- Degree(s) required in area of major study
