Job Summary
The Early Childhood Teacher role involves implementing classroom curricula to support quality teaching and learning practices. Candidates must hold an Associate's Degree in Child Development or a related field, possess required ECE credits, and have relevant experience with children. This position requires the ability to obtain specific Illinois credentials within the first year.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Child Development or closely related field
- 18+ hours of ECE credits
- Ability to obtain Illinois Gateways to Opportunity Early Childhood Education Level 4 credential within 12 months
- Ability to obtain Illinois Gateways to Opportunity Infant Toddler Level 4 credential within 12 months
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with children and/or families
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with children and/or families
- Bilingual candidates preferred
