Job Summary
Navajo Dual Language Teacher responsible for delivering a 50/50 immersion program in the Din language, creating and maintaining a dual-language classroom, implementing content aligned to district/state standards, utilizing a variety of instructional strategies, integrating technology, collaborating with colleagues/parents/community, supervising educational assistants, and providing language/cultural programming through district initiatives and assemblies. Responsibilities include adapting language assignments for students with IEPs, conducting formative and summative assessments, participating in PLCs, and supporting safety and district guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- NM 520 K-12 Native American Language and Culture or Valid New Mexico teaching license
- NM PED endorsements (TESOL or Bilingual) as required
