Job Summary
Teach drama and technical theatre to assigned classes, planning a program of study tailored to students' needs and abilities. Create a learning environment conducive to student engagement, assess student progress, and maintain accurate records. Supervise teacher aide(s) and/or volunteer(s); collaborate with department heads; participate in staff meetings; and communicate with students and parents as needed. Requires strong communication, time management, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to devote additional hours beyond the workday for grading and lesson planning. Must be eligible for Florida Department of Education Certification in the appropriate subject area.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Must be eligible for Florida Department of Education Certification in appropriate subject area
