Teacher/Dance Sponsor

Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill district curriculum requirements using appropriate instructional strategies and technology. Conduct ongoing assessments of student learning styles and achievement through formal and informal testing to guide future instruction. Collaborate with special education teachers to modify curricula per Individual Education Plans and work cooperatively with staff to set instructional goals. Direct the work of assigned instructional aides and volunteers while assuming responsibility for extracurricular activities and approved outside programs. Manage student behavior in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct and maintain a professional relationship with parents, colleagues, and the community. Compile and file all required reports, records, and documents while participating in faculty meetings and staff development activities. Comply with state and district regulations, attend emergency procedures training, and maintain emotional control under stress.
