Job Summary
CTE Welding Teacher at Waco Independent School District. Responsible for delivering welding curriculum, developing and implementing lesson plans aligned with district curriculum and TEA guidelines, assessing student learning, accommodating diverse learning styles, collaborating with special education staff for IEP compliance, supervising teacher aides/volunteers, utilizing technology to enhance instruction, conducting conferences with parents and students, maintaining professional relationships, and participating in staff development; requires strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills and a Texas teaching certificate with appropriate endorsements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or required training for subject and level assigned
- Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned
- Experience: At least one year of student teaching or approved internship
