Job Summary
Coordinate with the Director of Career & Technical Education to develop and revise curriculum aligned with state guidelines and district philosophy. Deliver entry-level employment skills through project-based and problem-based learning experiences while managing classroom and work environment safety. Monitor student performance, maintain accurate records for evaluations, attendance, and materials, and communicate progress to parents and business partners. Supervise student behavior during classes, between classes, and at job sites, ensuring compliance with Texas Education Code and district policies. Participate in staff development, co-curricular activities, and advisory committees to support continuous improvement and student welfare. Work 187 days per year at a base rate of $62,750.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate – Business Education

- One year of student teaching or approved internship and qualified work experience
- General knowledge of curriculum and instruction
- Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
- Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
