Job Summary
Develop a curriculum for entry-level business skills aligned with state regulations and district philosophy. Coordinate with the Director of Career & Technical Education to ensure consistent program delivery and identify necessary curriculum changes. Deliver effective instruction using project-based and problem-based learning while monitoring and assessing student performance in the classroom and work environment. Supervise student behavior and safety, instructing on emergency procedures and collaborating with business partners and school personnel to support student welfare. Maintain accurate records for student evaluations, attendance, materials, and parent communications. Participate in staff development, leadership clubs, and co-curricular activities while adhering to the Texas Education Code of Ethics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate – Business Education

- One year of student teaching or approved internship and qualified work experience
- General knowledge of curriculum and instruction
- Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
- Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
