Teacher, CTE -Business/Core Subject (Colleyville Middle School)

Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the core academic subject area assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to district curriculum, reflect accommodations for diverse learning styles, and present subject matter according to Texas Education Agency guidelines. Plan and use instructional strategies and materials, assess student learning, and collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula for IEP students. Manage classroom behavior, establish open communication with parents and colleagues, and participate in staff development. Take responsibility for extracurricular activities as assigned and supervise teacher aides/volunteers. Utilize technology to strengthen the teaching/learning process and support ongoing professional growth.
