Job Summary
Full-time Teachers for the child care program at the Yawkey Center in Dorchester. Requires EEC teacher certification with a combination of education and experience; multiple education pathways accepted (BA in early childhood with 6 months’ experience, BA in related field with 2 early childhood courses, AA with 1 year experience, CDA with 2 years’ experience, or high school diploma with 3 early childhood courses and 3 years’ experience). Responsibilities include teaching and interacting with children, parents, coworkers, and staff; maintaining positive role modeling and classroom interactions; ability to teach and engage with parents and staff; and supporting classroom coverage with varied early/late hours. Must pass CORI/SORI/DCF background checks and fingerprinting; proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Zoom. Beneficial to have willingness to work varied hours and participate in a benefits package including a 403(b) and paid time off. Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- EEC teacher certification with a combination of education and experience

- Pass background check (CORI/SORI/DCF) and fingerprinting
