Teacher - Central Academy

The teacher shall utilize an appropriate variety of material and activities to facilitate lesson objectives, concentrate on high time-on-task, demonstrate a caring attitude, use effective questioning and motivational strategies, monitor student progress, and manage classroom behavior. Responsibilities include preparing current lesson plans linked to objectives, maintaining a neat, conducive learning environment, collaborating with parents/guardians and colleagues, participating in faculty meetings and curriculum activities, and upholding professional standards and dress. The position is full-time in Henderson, Kentucky, for the 2026-27 school year, with 185 teaching days and standard employment requirements.
