Job Summary
Teach and implement a Career and Technical Education (CTE) instructional program in Engineering for high school students at River Ridge High School during the 2026-2027 school year. responsibilities include developing and organizing curriculum, planning lessons, and delivering instruction while ensuring safety and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The role requires collaboration with the district and school to meet program objectives, and may include teaching an additional period with compensation as a supplement to the base salary. Requires a Bachelor's degree and a Florida Educator Certificate in the relevant field or district-approved certification pathway, with background screening as part of the hiring process. The assignment is a temporary 1-year position for the 2026-2027 school year.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Approval by or participation in a state-approved certification pathway program
- Valid Florida Educator’s Certificate in field or District CTE Certification
- OR Valid statement of eligibility
- Industry Certification/License when applicable
- Background screening requirements
