Job Summary
Develop, plan, organize, and implement a Career and Technical Education (CTE) instructional program for high school students through curriculum, lesson plans, and educational programs. Ensure all procedures are followed to maintain safety and security and to meet federal, state, and local regulations. This 196-day full-time instructional position requires a valid Florida Educator's Certificate in Business Education or state-approved certification pathway. Additional compensation is available for teaching periods beyond the base contract. Pasco County Schools utilizes the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse for all hires.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Approval by or participation in a state-approved certification pathway program
- Valid Florida Educator's Certificate in field or District CTE Certification
- Valid statement of eligibility
- Industry Certification/License when applicable
