Job Summary
High School Biology Teacher to teach biology and oversee standard-based instruction for a 10-month contract. Responsibilities include establishing classroom procedures to maximize student learning, preparing weekly lesson plans aligned to Oklahoma Academic Standards, implementing IEPs and behavioral interventions, maintaining orderly records and classroom materials, managing discipline, participating in professional development and meetings, providing regular feedback to students and parents, using data to guide instruction and interventions, delivering technology-enhanced instruction, and coordinating with teacher assistants, parents, and volunteers on field trips. Must adhere to district policies and ensure compliance with state and federal laws; requires collaboration with other professionals to advance students’ academic progress and ongoing professional growth.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Oklahoma Teaching Certificate in Assigned Subject(s)
