Job Summary
Teach high school mathematics (Algebra 2; Math for Data Financial Literacy; Math for College Liberal Arts) to grades 9-12. Responsible for developing, planning, organizing, and implementing an instructional program through curriculum and lesson plans while ensuring safety and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and a valid Florida Educator’s Certificate or eligibility, or district-approved certification pathway. Full-time, 196 days per year, located in New Port Richey, FL. Instructional position with potential additional compensation for teaching an extra period as applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution OR approval by or participation in a state-approved certification pathway program
- Valid Florida Educator’s Certificate or District-issued adjunct certification OR Valid statement of eligibility
- Instructional position requirements including developing curriculum, lesson plans, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Full-time employment with 196 instructional days per year
- Background screening clearance via Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse or Level II background checks
