Job Summary
High School math teacher responsible for developing, planning, organizing, and implementing an instructional program for students through curriculum, lesson plans, and educational programs, while ensuring procedures are followed to meet safety, security, and regulatory requirements. Teaches Algebra 2, Math for Data Financial Literacy, and Math for College Liberal Arts; requires a Bachelor's degree and Florida Educator’s Certificate (or approved certification pathway) and maintains eligibility for certification. 196 instructional days per year; full-time with benefits; Secondary Education (Grade 9-12); location in New Port Richey, FL; district expects curriculum development, instructional planning, adherence to district and state guidelines, and potential additional teaching duties with corresponding compensation as applicable. Background screening in accordance with district requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution OR approval by or participation in a state-approved certification pathway program
- Valid Florida Educator’s Certificate or District-issued adjunct certification OR Valid statement of eligibility
