Job Summary
Responsible for developing, planning, organizing, and implementing an instructional program for high school Language Arts students through curriculum and lesson plans, while ensuring safety, compliance with federal/state/local regulations, and addressing topics typical of secondary education. Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or state-approved certification pathway) and a valid Florida Educator’s Certificate or adjunct certification (or eligibility). May include teaching an additional period beyond base contract with additional compensation. Strong emphasis on curriculum development, instructional planning, classroom management, and adherence to district policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Approval by or participation in a state-approved certification pathway program
- Valid Florida Educator’s Certificate or District-issued adjunct certification OR Valid statement of eligibility
