Job Summary
Develop, implement, and manage an instructional program for K5 students by planning lessons and educational activities aligned with curriculum and regulatory requirements. Maintain safety procedures and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Hold a Bachelor's degree and a valid Florida Educator’s Certificate (or district adjunct certification) or eligibility, with state-approved certification pathways as an acceptable alternative. Preferred candidates may have a Reading Endorsement and be willing to sign an agreement to earn it. May include additional teaching periods beyond base contract with corresponding supplemental pay. Background screening per district policy is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution OR approval by or participation in a state-approved certification pathway program
- Valid Florida Educator’s Certificate or District-issued adjunct certification OR Valid statement of eligibility
- Background screening including Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse and Level II background screening
- Reading Endorsement preferred (candidates with endorsement or willing to earn endorsement may be prioritized)
