Job Summary
K5 teacher responsible for developing, planning, organizing, and implementing an instructional program for students through curriculum, lesson plans, and educational programs, while ensuring safety, security, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Requires Bachelor’s degree or state-approved certification pathway and a valid Florida Educator’s Certificate or adjunct certification or eligibility; Reading Endorsement preferred. Full-time, 196 days per year at Watergrass Elementary in Wesley Chapel, FL; background screening required; eligibility for district certifications and adherence to district hiring practices. Additional compensation may apply for teaching an extra period per secondary education notes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- OR Approval by or participation in a state-approved certification pathway program
- Valid Florida Educator’s Certificate or District-issued adjunct certification OR Valid statement of eligibility
- Background screening clearance (Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse Level II)
- Reading Endorsement preferred or willingness to earn endorsement
