Job Summary
Develop and implement an instructional program for grades 6-8 students through curriculum, lesson plans, and educational programs while ensuring safety, security, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Plan and organize daily instruction at Raymond B. Stewart Middle School across a 196-day school year. This full-time, benefit-eligible position requires a valid Florida Educator's Certificate or district-issued adjunct certification, with an anticipated start date of August 5, 2026. Candidates must complete background screening via the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. Additional compensation may apply for teaching periods beyond the base contract.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Approval by or participation in a state-approved certification pathway program
- Valid Florida Educator's Certificate or District-issued adjunct certification
- Valid statement of eligibility
