Job Summary
As a Teacher at Cupertino Middle School within KinderCare Learning Companies, you will lead and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom, implement KinderCare's curriculum in alignment with each child's needs, create a safe, nurturing environment, partner with parents to support children's development, and collaborate with center staff to achieve enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals. You will build strong relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners, contributing to a mission of high-quality child care and education across centers.
Required Qualifications
- Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
- 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred)
- CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
- Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds
- English language proficiency for communication with children and parents
