Job Summary
Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers; model behaviors and provide feedback. Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that aligns with each child's needs. Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning. Partner with parents to provide the best care and education, and support center goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement. Build relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and partners to deliver high-quality child care across communities. Key requirements include active CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy, 2-3 years ECE experience, Bachelor’s in ECE (preferred), CPR/First Aid, and the ability to communicate in English; willingness to obtain required certifications as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
- 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred)
- Approved state trainer (preferred)
- CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
- Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
- Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English
