Job Summary

Assist the Head Teacher in delivering classroom and outdoor curriculum while implementing individual Support Plans and maintaining an orderly, safe environment per accreditation standards. Support student activities through direct participation, manage positive guidance and redirection, and perform support duties including snack preparation and facility monitoring. Assume daily classroom responsibilities in the Head Teacher's absence and complete developmental observations and assessments as outlined in program requirements. Report all child-related incidents and incidents within one hour, ensuring proper accountability and safety compliance. Maintain student confidentiality, document work-related injuries, and attend required trainings to stay current with best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Demonstrated ability to develop age-appropriate exhibits and activities for the classroom
  • Basic knowledge of the principles of Child Development
  • 18 years of age or older
  • CPR/First Aid certification or certification within two months of employment
  • Full-time exempt position availability
  • Monday–Friday, 6:45 am – 6:15 pm schedule availability
  • Willingness to work evening hours
