Job Summary
Assist teachers with instruction, assessments, grading, and other classroom responsibilities while potentially teaching small groups of students. Provide daily one-on-one and small group tutoring, support student interventions, and observe Master Teachers to improve instructional techniques. Handle administrative duties such as copying, hallway duty, and organizing materials, plus supervise students during transitions, meals, and afterschool. Participate in grade-level activities, school-wide events, and trips, while delivering consistent rewards and consequences for student behavior. Serve as an advisor to small student groups and communicate effectively with families and colleagues. Complete an annual three-week staff orientation and training.
