Job Summary
Ensure a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment for all students while collaborating with Lead Teachers to support and implement lesson plans. Maintain accurate student records, assist with family communication, and encourage positive self-image by modeling appropriate social behavior and actively engaging with toddlers and preschoolers. Participate in staff meetings, professional development, trainings, and mentorship programs to foster individuality, independence, and creativity in a nurturing Montessori setting. Work Monday through Friday in Warren, NJ, with shifts from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm or 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- CPR / First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- A genuine love of children
- Physically able to kneel, bend, squat, lift, push, pull, and carry children
- An understanding of health and safety guidelines
- Capacity to multi-task and function in an ever-changing environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
