Job Summary
Provide instructional support and personal assistance to teachers of students with physical disabilities or intellectual disabilities. Assist with preparing classroom materials, supervising student behavior, implementing behavior modification plans, and supporting speech-language activities; operate computer and audiovisual equipment; perform clerical duties; lift up to 25 pounds and assist with personal care as required; work under the guidance of the teacher in a 10-month, 7-hour-per-day schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience as a teacher aide or experience working with children
