Job Summary
1:1 instructional support for a student with disabilities; assist the teacher with instructional duties, materials prep, and behavior management; supervise learning centers; collect data on student progress (skill practice, seizures, toileting); support language development and daily living skills; operate audiovisual equipment and classroom technologies; perform clerical tasks and assist with personal hygiene and physical care as required; communicate effectively with students, teachers, and speech therapy staff; work under teacher guidance in a 10-month, full-time classroom setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience as a teacher aide or working with children
