Job Summary
Assist with planning and implementing early childhood activities in alignment with Head Start guidelines; maintain organized classroom space and materials; conduct daily health checks and document attendance/meals; develop and implement lesson plans reflecting individual and group needs (including IEP goals); participate in home visits and parent/teacher conferences; ensure health, safety, and regulatory compliance; utilize ChildPlus and other software for recordkeeping; support families, staff, and substitutes; contribute to a positive classroom environment and engage children in developmentally appropriate activities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
- CDA certification (Required within one year of hire)
- AA degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Services or a related field (Preferred)
