Teacher/Assistant Softball Coach

Develop and deliver middle school instruction aligned with district goals, create engaging lesson plans, assess student progress, and maintain accurate records. Facilitate a safe, supportive learning environment, communicate with parents, and collaborate with staff. Serve as Assistant Softball Coach to coordinate and supervise the softball program, design training and game plans, uphold AAA rules, develop team rules, ensure athlete eligibility and safety, supervise coaching staff, and assist in purchasing and maintaining equipment. Maintain positive school culture, participate in professional learning communities, and adapt instruction to blended learning as needed. Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and a service-focused mindset aligned with Gentry Public Schools’ mission; adhere to district policies, safety protocols, and crisis-management practices. Other essential duties and responsibilities include contributing to a positive workplace environment, maintaining attendance, and supporting student growth academically and athletically.
