Provides instructional assistance in a general education and special education setting under a certified teacher to support IEP implementation; prepares instructional materials and displays, assists with student supervision, discipline, safety, and care, and supports individual or small group instructional exercises as directed by the teacher.
Required Qualifications
- TEA Educational Aide Certificate
- Educational Aide Certificate or equivalent
- high school diploma or GED plus 30 semester hours
- experience with special education students preferred
