Job Summary
Teacher Assistant will support instructional activities in the classroom, assist in preparing materials, help implement the supervised program, maintain awareness of goals and objectives, provide information to teachers regarding program evaluation, supervise students to ensure a safe environment, and perform general classroom assistance including promoting positive behavior and school/community representation. Requirements include a valid North Carolina driver’s license, completion of 48 semester hours of college credits or an Associate Degree, strong oral and written communication skills, willingness to work extended hours, and strong interpersonal skills. The role is located at Rowland Norment Elementary School in Lumberton, NC for a 10-month employment term.
