Job Summary
Ensure a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment for all students while collaborating with Lead Teachers to support and implement lesson plans. Maintain accurate student records, assist with family communication, and model appropriate social behavior to encourage individuality and creativity. Actively engage with students, support their exploration and growth, and participate in staff meetings, professional development, and mentorship programs. Work Monday through Friday from 1:00 pm to 6:30 pm in a nurturing Montessori setting.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- CPR / First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- A genuine love of children.
- Physically able to kneel, bend, squat, lift, push, pull, and carry children
- An understanding of health and safety guidelines.
- Capacity to multi-task and function in an ever-changing environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
