Teacher Assistant - Library - West Elem.

Lead weekly library classes by reading aloud, facilitating literacy activities, and helping students select and check out materials. Manage daily circulation, process new items, organize collections, and maintain accurate records using the district's library management system. Collaborate with teachers to provide resources for curriculum units and coordinate school-wide reading challenges. Supervise students during morning, recess, lunch, or bus duties and provide classroom coverage or emergency substitution as needed. Assist with budget management, book fairs, and end-of-year awards while completing clerical tasks. Maintain confidentiality and build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
