Teacher Assistant Level II - Secondary

Provide instructional support in the assigned classroom to reinforce learning objectives for individual students or small groups; assist with implementing behavior modification programs, monitor and report student behavior and performance, and perform clerical duties. Collaborate with teachers to prepare/present instructional materials, adapt activities, attend meetings, communicate student progress for needs assessments, document observations, guide special education students in interpersonal skills, implement instructional programs under teacher supervision, maintain instructional records, monitor student performance, obtain assignments for different academic levels, supervise students to ensure a safe learning environment, and assist other school personnel in curriculum and teaching methodologies.
