Teacher Assistant Level II - Elementary

Adapt classroom activities, administer assignments and tests, and implement lesson plans under the direction of supervising teachers. Monitor student performance and behavior, document observations for academic and social activities, and report incidents to appropriate personnel. Guide special education students in personal interactions and escort students to and from classes to ensure a safe learning environment. Assist instructional staff in preparing materials, improving student learning skills, and supporting the implementation of behavior modification programs. Maintain instructional files and records while attending meetings and in-service presentations.
