Job Summary
Assist Head Start Teacher with instructional duties, prepare lesson plans, administer literacy assessments, manage classroom materials, support bus logistics and meals, collect data with ChildPlus, implement behavior modification plans, support home visits with families, and communicate with families in bilingual settings as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- CDA (Child Development Associate) credential
- Experience working with preschool age children
- Bi-lingual required, Spanish preferred
- Ability to learn to perform individual medical procedures when necessary
- Experience in working with diverse cultures
- Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills
