Job Summary
The Teacher Assistant supports the Teacher in the care and education of preschool children in a nurturing environment, participating in curriculum implementation, observations, documentation, and promoting family engagement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Active Preschool Child Development Associate Credential
- ECE Certificate or EEC Preschool Lead Teacher certified
- Experience teaching preschool age children
Desired Qualifications
- EEC preschool teacher certified preferred
- Bilingual in a language spoken by families served by ABCD preferred
Additional Requirements
- Must comply with all federal, state and local laws and regulations
- Must report suspected cases of child abuse and neglect
