Job Summary
Teacher Assistant at Good Shepherd School supports teachers and students in classrooms and during transition times. Responsibilities include taking directions from the teacher, escorting students to recess or special events, entering grades, assisting with correcting papers, preparing projects, and helping students one-on-one or in small groups. Must be able to manage a classroom while honoring the teacher’s methods, stay organized and punctual, and have a heart for kids and willingness to shepherd them. The role requires regular church involvement, completion of a ministry certification with a criminal background check, and adherence to church/school policies. Additional duties may be assigned by the School Administrator. The 2026/27 academic year runs September 9, 2026 – June 11, 2027.
