Job Summary
Supports classroom management, provides group instruction as prescribed by the teacher, and offers individualized instruction. Prepares visual aids and instructional materials, assesses student work, records behavior and progress data, and supports digital age learning while ensuring student safety and well-being. Upholds confidentiality of student information and demonstrates ethical behavior while assisting diverse learners, including exceptional students, under supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree from a regionally accredited college or university required (must include an emphasis in mathematics, reading, writing and content knowledge)
- Minimum 2.5 GPA required
- ETTP course completion and dated certificate must be obtained within the first school year of employment
