Job Summary
Teacher Assistant (Floater) supports classroom operations by assisting teachers in engaging children through developmentally appropriate activities, while maintaining communication with educational staff and families. Requires travel between multiple sites, adherence to performance standards, and completion of required childcare training.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 45 hours of childcare training from Florida Department of Children and Families (FDCF)
Desired Qualifications
- Active National Child Development Associate Credential
- Active Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC)
- Supervised teaching experience
Additional Requirements
- Successful completion of background process including Local background check, Level 2 clearance, clear TB test, medical clearance, drug test and reference checks
