Job Summary
The Teacher Assistant for the ESL and Migrant Education Program is responsible for supporting classroom instruction, delivering instructional activities for ESL and migrant students, and providing both small-group and one-on-one assistance to enhance English language development and academic skills. Responsibilities include preparing instructional materials, maintaining program documentation, and participating in staff meetings. The role requires strong computer skills for record maintenance and program compliance documentation, as well as the ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally. An Associate degree or equivalent semester hours is required, along with a valid work visa.
Required Qualifications
- An Associate degree or 48 semester hours from an accredited college or university
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required
