Job Summary
Assist teachers in delivering instructional activities for ESL and migrant students through small-group or one-on-one support to improve English language development, literacy, and academic skills. Reinforce lessons, help students complete assignments, and encourage participation while maintaining confidentiality of student information and program records. Prepare instructional materials, maintain accurate documentation including monthly reports and timesheets, and obtain/maintain a bus license to drive and travel to other schools as needed. Work collaboratively with staff, participate in meetings and trainings, and build positive relationships with students and families. Full-time, ten-month school year with occasional after-school support.
Required Qualifications
- An Associate degree or 48 semester hours from an accredited college or university
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
