Educational Support Professional: Teacher Assistant assists classroom teachers by working with students in small groups and one on one; reinforces skills instruction; prepares instructional materials; performs typing, word processing, data entry, filing and runs copies; maintains student records; participates in planning discussions; assists with parent involvement programs; supervises students in classroom, playground, lunchroom and other areas; supports general office tasks and collaboration with staff.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience working with children
