Job Summary
Assist teachers in EC/resource/inclusion settings by providing instructional support, group instruction, individualized help, and supervision of students. Duties include preparing materials, operating audiovisual equipment, creating learning aids, proctoring tests, recording attendance/health data, and reporting student progress to the teacher. Requires high school graduation plus an associate's degree or WorkKeys credentials, with the potential to obtain a bus license for substitute bus driver coverage as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from high school
- Associate's degree or successful completion of 48 semester hours or score at least a level Four or higher on all three portions (Applied Math, Graphic Literacy & Workplace Documents) of the WorkKeys exam
- Possession of an equivalent combination of training and experience
- Ability to obtain a bus license (not required to drive a bus route)
