Job Summary
Teacher Assistant/Driver for a 10-month position in Ansonia, CT. Supports instructional activities and small group instruction for students, assists teacher with ongoing progress assessment and behavior management, uses assistive and adaptive instructional technology, supervises students during lunch and movement, and participates in transportation duties with knowledge of CT laws. Requires maintaining required forms and documents, and maintaining a professional, courteous relationship with students and families; includes occasional driving responsibilities and adherence to safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required, college degree preferred
- CT drivers license with appropriate endorsements
- Experience working with students/special needs students desirable
