Job Summary
Assist teacher and residential staff in planning and implementing instructional and residential programs for individual students with intellectual disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and dual diagnoses. Ensure student welfare, safety, and location at all times while guiding students in socially appropriate behavior on and off campus. Maintain order in the classroom environment to support academic and social learning, and resolve student crises or contact supervisors when assistance is needed. This role requires a valid NY Driver's License, flexibility, and patience, with a salary commensurate with education and experience ranging from $19.80 to $23.32 per hour. Located in Mt. Kisco, NY, the position offers student loan debt assistance, tuition reimbursement, and a 30-day benefit eligibility waiting period.
Required Qualifications
