Teacher Assistant

Support the course instructor to ensure effective delivery of required materials and foster a positive learning environment. Lead lessons or small group activities, present subject matter using stories, discussions, and role-playing, and assist children individually or in groups with lesson assignments to reinforce learning concepts. Plan and prepare lesson outlines, curricula, and various teaching aids including activity sheets and drawings. Confer with parents on children's progress in the absence of the teacher. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Requires a High School/GED and at least one year of school setting experience.
