Job Summary
Provide classroom teaching assistance and supervision in the computer lab, maintain a positive classroom environment, provide students with daily care as needed (e.g. toileting, feeding), adhere to district dress code policies, maintain confidentiality regarding students and school records, positively support student growth and development, and perform other duties as assigned. Must be able to lift a minimum of fifty pounds. This is a 190-day school-year position at Hartsville Middle School and the incumbent will be non-exempt under FLSA.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of sixty (60) academic credit hours from an accredited institution of higher education OR an associate degree (or higher) OR High School Diploma or the equivalent AND Ready to Work Credentials
- WIN Assessment minimum Silver: Level 4 or higher OR Work Keys minimum scores: Applied Mathematics 4, Reading for Information 4, Writing 4 OR ParaPro passing score minimum 456 OR other Board-acceptable alternatives
