Teacher Assistant - Bancroft School

Plan and implement classroom instruction tailored to the educational needs of assigned students, assisting teachers in developing individual-specific lesson plans that address specific IEP goals. Monitor student behavior, gather data, and create graphic illustrations to identify proficiency levels and support program modifications. Maintain a safe, secure environment by guiding students toward socially appropriate behavior, reporting hazards, and utilizing approved cleaning solutions for equipment. Accompany students on trips, meals, and extracurricular activities while providing tutoring in social, vocational, and educational skills. Transport students between rooms with proper medical equipment and substitute for the One-to-One Education Program Associate when needed.
