Teacher Assistant

Create a well-organized, safe learning environment for preschoolers while supporting instruction, supervising children, and conducting ongoing assessments. Incorporate play-based learning principles and diverse experiences to foster emotional, cognitive, language, physical, and self-help skill development. Provide coverage as assigned to ensure smooth program operation and follow safety and health practices daily. Work as a team member within a federally funded Head Start program serving 3 and 4-year-olds in the Hudson Valley and The Bronx.
